Our family has lived in Escalante for multiple generations. This is our home and we love the area. In the 1800’s a great grandfather originally came from Wayne County, homesteaded in Boulder, then eventually settled in Escalante as a rancher and successful businessman. His paths are similar to the route many of our guests experience when traveling scenic Highway 12. Generations have grown up caring for and exploring the high mountain tops and desert mesas in a pursuit to raise families and make a living.
For us, Escalante has proven to be a place of sunshine, an ideal haven to appreciate God’s creations, and an exceptional area to raise our family among friends. Only recently has the world come to know of the hidden gem in which we live. Truly a wonderful place for those who love the quiet way of life and the outdoors.
